I am sad that it took so many years to photograph this precious family. I am however, so excited that in 2012 I did finally get to do a Lasting Moments Spring Family Portraits with the Murrah Family. I could likely come up with many adjectives to describe this wonderful family but I think the pictures will speak for me.
Some of my favorites
It’s amazing how God brings people in and out of our lives. This family has been intertwined in my life for many years. It was such a sweet honor to be asked to photograph their Generations Session. We laughed and talked and just had a wonderful time making lasting moments together.
Just my personal opinion, and yes I have lots of opinions, but our brave men and women who wear any service uniform are our hero’s. What a lovely family I got to meet last week. They came from 2 1/2 hours away!!!. It was my honor to photograph this adorable little guy.
I often wonder what a person would think if they had the opportunity to sit in on one of my sessions. Maybe comments like, that photographers crazy or she isn’t getting anything good. I have to admit that even I have these thoughts sometimes. But in this session on Sunday I knew I was capturing so much personality from Mr. Aidan and Miss Gracie. Their mom wasn’t so sure, but I knew we were getting some fabulous lasting moments.
On the Eve of the first day of school I am quickly getting excited knowing that my favorite season is quickly approaching. The Fall. The temperatures begin to dip and the beautiful colors start to change and I get to see the yearly familiar families that use Laurie Melissa Photography. If you are a family looking for pictures but are waiting for that perfect time of year then get moving. My Fall calendar fills up quickly. I am already looking forward to my yearly Fall Session with the Petersen Family, pictured below. How can we top last year?
