I can’t believe my baby boy is 4 today!!! The time has passed so quickly. We walked through so many ups and downs in his pregnancy, reliquinshed the type of birth I had envisioned but it was all worth it to hold my healthy baby in my arms. No sacrifice was too big for my baby. Over the past 4 years, Elijah has made us laugh so many times, had a few trips to the E.R. and so much more. We look forward to so many more years with this precious blessing from God.

Wednesday morning I headed to Baylor Dallas to support one of the sweetest couples I have ever met. I watched this father support the mother so perfectly. And I watched this mother show amazing courage, determination, strength and love. Their story is one I will never forget. So excited to have been a part of their special day.
Friday was already a busy scheduled day, so when my phone went off at 2:40 Friday morning August 5th I knew it was about to get busier. I got my kiddos off to Grannies house and headed to the birth center in Dallas. I knew the baby would arrive soon after I walked in and I was right. Baby J was born just 15 minutes after I walked through the doors. He was greeted by a brother and sister and a sweet grandma. This birth was filled with so much love.
It’s not very often that I get the opportunity to photograph a birth but I was excited when I got the call to come. But shortly after I got a call from the midwife that baby had plans of her own and was born before any of us could get there. So I just enjoyed photographing the postpartum. Welcome baby E!
